Advantages and Disadvantages of Delegation and How to Delegate Effectively
Delegation involves giving responsibility and authority for certain tasks to subordinates that would otherwise be completed by the manager themselves. Delegation is an important management skill that often requires a lot of tact and explanation to accompany it. When done correctly, it can not only relieve managers of some of their workload, but can empower employees and improve their morale. If done incorrectly, it can have disastrous consequences.
