Blake Shelton And Miranda Lambert Show Support For Animal Rescue
It was exactly a year ago this week that country music's hottest couple, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert, tied the knot on a Texas ranch with their beloved dogs as a part of the ceremony.
?We?ve rescued at least 20 dogs, as well as cats and horses,? Blake tells In Touch of their pet-friendly Oklahoma home, formerly a hunting lodge.
As a result of Blake and Miranda?s well-documented pro-hunting stance, these CMT favorites may not be who you think of when it comes to animal rescue. However, where domestic animals are concerned, the two have an unquestionable softer side.
?I find rescues while traveling and name them after artists,? adds Miranda, 28, who started the MuttNation Foundation that aids animals in need.
Will the married couple?s animal instincts prepare them for a family?
?Not unless our kids go to the bathroom outside or on the floor!? jokes Blake, 35, before adding, ?If Miranda?s as good with a human being as she is with dogs, the kid?s going to be golden!?
