Galaxy set for White House visit with Saunders cleared to attend
BY ADAM SERRANO When the defending MLS Cup champion Los Angeles Galaxy are honored at the White House on Tuesday, goalkeeper Josh Saunders will be right alongside his teammates, according to a club release. After announcing that Saunders will be away from the club indefinitely to enter the league's Substance Abuse and Behavioral Health program a day earlier, the Galaxy announced on Monday that Saunders was approved to join the team in Washington, D.C. for the visit with President Barack Obama.
