Geithner: Debt limit is at hand

WASHINGTON - The government will reach the $16.4 trillion debt limit Monday, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner told congressional leaders Wednesday, adding a possibly dramatic wrinkle to negotiations aimed at averting the fiscal cliff.
